Pudtol is most known for Mataguisi Church Ruins residing in Brgy Mataguisi and another church ruins in Brgy. Emilia. These exquisite mortar-and-brick structures date back to 1608 during Spanish colonial rule. To this day, they are still maintained and being used by patrons, with the help of the local government. A short distance from the town proper stands the red Bubulayan Bridge, which links Lower and Upper Apayao. Nearby is the crystal-clear Nagan River, distinguished as the cleanest river in the region. For adventure junkies, there’s Maton River, an emerald brook that cascades into a smaller pool. Massive boulders surround the river, where daredevils can take turns cliff-diving.
