KABINNULIG FESTIVAL
The term “kabinnulig” is an ilocano term which means friend/partner. The festival features the farmer’s partner in agriculture, the carabao.
PINYA FESTIVAL
It was launched in June 2014 by the municipality of Pudtol. It showcases their One Town One Product (OTOP). It symbolizes local culture and tradition in areas where native industries are thriving.
BALANGKOY FESTIVAL
An annual festivity of the municipality of Sta. Marcela was established in June 2005. It highlights the founding anniversary of the town. It is laced with street dancing and display of agro-industrial products produced in the municipality. Balangakoy is an Ilocano term for cassava.
PANAGBUNGA FESTIVAL
A one of a kind annual festivity of the municipality of Conner that unfolds in either September or October, aligning with the pinnacle of harvest season. Variety of fruits such as rambutan, lansones, durian, dragon fruits, citrus, banana, and other fruits are being displayed, Booth Contest, Agro-trade fair, Drum and Lyre Competition, and the Search for Mr. and Ms. Panagbunga Festival are the prominent features of the event.
SAY-AM KABUGAO
Celebrated on its founding anniversary (June 23-25) aimed to bind “Ikabuhaws to rekindle friendship, unity and cooperation laced with festivity (Say-am) as they share food (sugnad) and the resources (trade fairs, sport and talent competition).
RAMBAK NI MANNALON
The Festival of Farmers, Taking the center stage in the festivals are the farmers, the real backbone of the community. They are the ones who work from sunup sundown, doing all the tedious work on the farm.
The mannalon as they are commonly called, is the epitome of what a true Lunanian is – hard working, industrious, resilient, humble and peace loving.
Showcases in the festival are the Partuat ni Mannalon, from the fresh farm produce to culture as shown in their arts, crafts, fashion, food, songs and dances. Come and join us and experience the Lunanians unique way unique way of celebrating a farmer’s festival.
LAPAT FESTIVAL
Is a celebration of the Isnags’ unique tradition. It is an Isnag way of protection that yields clear biodiversity conservation outcomes.
The municipality of Calanasan launched its first celebration on June 24, 2023, the municipality’s 60th founding anniversary.
